Who we are
A video production company in London, on City Road
We make films for brands, banks, charities and broadcasters: brand films, corporate films, documentaries and TV commercials. We come up with the idea, run the shoot and finish the film with our own post team. Our office on City Road is where most commissions start.
We film all over London: towers in the City and at Canary Wharf, lofts in Shoreditch and on Hackney Road, studios in Battersea, care homes in Fulham, a tavern by Liverpool Street. We know which estates want twelve working days’ notice, which City buildings want every crew name for security, and when a quiet room needs the floor below booked as well.

AlTi first came to us for a brand film. Over the next two and a half years came a launch film for the Social Progress Index that was shown at Davos, three films on the purpose of wealth, an animation for the firm’s intranet, an announcement from its Global Chief Investment Officer and a fireside chat on AI. In London we filmed in a top-floor daylight studio on Hackney Road and at Many Rooms in Battersea.

Case studies
Five case studies, three of them in London
An announcement filmed in a New York library, our longest London relationship, a hundred-year-old engineering firm, a tavern in the City and, for balance, a jetpack.
Announcement film · Wealth technology
Nevis × Focus
Focus Financial Partners chose Nevis, the AI platform for wealth managers, for its whole business, and Nevis asked us for the film that would tell the industry. Twelve days after Mark Swan’s first email we were in a panelled library on the Upper East Side: three half-hour interviews, then a three-way conversation on five cameras, in one afternoon. We wrote the questions, not the answers, and cut the film five times in eight days, reviewed by both firms.
- Filmed
- An Upper East Side library, New York, September 2026
- Made
- A three-minute announcement film, released October 2026
Branded micro-documentaries · Later-life care
KYN
KYN runs later-life care homes in London. The first brief was one day at KYN Hurlingham while the building was still being finished, for a short history of the Grade II building on Daisy Lane. Three weeks after we delivered it, KYN briefed us on Meet the Makers, seven films about the people who made the homes. Since then: Belong, with residents and their families; a careers film and six role films; and a new film for its homepage.
- Filmed
- KYN Hurlingham, Fulham, and KYN Bickley
- Made
- Twenty films from five briefs, 2024 to now
Branded documentary · Construction
JA Brooks
JA Brooks has fitted the mechanical services in London buildings for a hundred years, from its wartime beginnings to the projects it helps power today. For the centenary it wanted the people, not a reel of projects. We filmed at its pod construction facility and on live sites across the city, and built a film in three acts around the engineers, welders and families behind four generations of the business.
- Filmed
- JA Brooks’s workshop and sites across London
- Made
- A centenary film, used inside the firm and out
Customer stories · Restaurant technology
Toast
Toast’s creative team is on the US East Coast; the restaurants were in London and British Columbia. In London we filmed Mr Fogg’s City Tavern by Liverpool Street on 20 May 2026: the story of a drink order made in under two minutes. For the restaurant in Burnaby we booked a Vancouver crew, briefed them with our shot list and interview plan, and our producer Meg Amos directed the interviews live from London over a video link.
- Filmed
- Liverpool Street, London, and Burnaby, British Columbia
- Made
- Two customer story films, one team
PR films · For Jam Prime
Domino’s, TUI and Belvoir
Jam Prime puts brands in the news with stunts, and in 2023 it brought us in to film three. The loudest: a jet suit pilot delivering Domino’s to campers at Glastonbury, in one flight of about ten minutes. Its coverage ran to 78 pieces, from the Independent to the New York Post. Then a 78-year-old’s first waterslide for TUI, and elderflower from bush to bottle for Belvoir Farm. Not every film needs a jet engine. It helps.
- Filmed
- Glastonbury, Turkey and Leicestershire, for Jam Prime
- Made
- Three PR films, news cuts and stills

Ongoing work
Retainers, and work for agencies
Retainers
Some London clients come back brief after brief: KYN has given us five since 2024. Others would rather book us monthly or quarterly. A retainer keeps the look the same from film to film, brings the cost of each one down, and puts the same team on every brief, so nobody has to explain the brand twice.
- Always-on content
- A lower cost per film
- Faster to publish
- One look across every film
- The same team every time
For agencies
We work behind agencies all the time: white-label production, crews and kit, and post. We join your client calls as part of your team, sign your NDA and keep our name off the work. A lot of our PR films come through London agencies, the Domino’s jetpack among them.
- White-label production
- Crew and kit hire
- Post-production

“The Here Now Films team helped us conduct a remote shoot in London, from San Francisco. The team made the process as smooth as possible and were an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend their services!”
Google review
“Here Now Films is always my first call when filming internationally in the UK. This was my second time working with them, and once again, they delivered above and beyond. On our most recent trip, they supported us a phenomenal key production assistant throughout the UK and a great DP in Manchester (a new city for us). They matched the exact camera and lighting kit I use back in the States keeping things consistent for our brand. What really stood out this time was the support from our key PA. He personally ushered me and my U.S.-based DP to every single shoot location throughout the week, and even drove me from London to Manchester. Always on time, if not early, and an excellent driver. I’ve always been uncomfortable driving on the opposite side of the road when traveling internationally, so that accommodation made a huge difference. The first time we worked together in London, they provided a full crew and both shoots ran flawlessly. Communication is always smooth, the team is kind, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. Most importantly, our clients are always happy when they’re involved. Looking forward to many more future projects together. Here Now is truly a go-to partner in the UK!”
“The team at Here Now are exceptional. I’ve worked with them on a number of projects now and the quality is always outstanding, they are also just an absolute pleasure to work with! They offer creativity, passion and a level of professionalism I’ve rarely had with other businesses. I’d highly recommend Ed and the team to anyone as their first call for top-tier video production.”
“Ed and Ted created a micro-documentary for us showcasing an innovative project, they were highly professional, fitted in seamlessly with a highly complex and fast paced day of activity and logistics, while building instant rapport with the multiple people involved in the day. In the end they produced a brilliant product for us delivering exactly to the brief, telling the story of the project with creative flare, style and depth. I’d highly recommenced them to anyone looking to create high quality, watchable content, with a company that has a journalistic and high level of attention to detail and adaptable approach to covering a story. Also great fun to work with in general from the creative planning stages through to filming.”
“It was a pleasure collaborating with the team at Here Now Films (Ed, Meg, and Ted). They created two videos for our drug and alcohol charity, WithYou in Cornwall, highlighting the recovery journeys of our clients and showcasing the outstanding work our staff does every day. They approached the filming process with sensitivity and empathy, helping our clients and staff feel at ease throughout the shoot. We are thrilled with the final results of both films and would gladly work with the team again in the future.”
“I worked with a crew of four people from Here Now Films for a pilot project. Morgan, the organiser, was very proficient and quick to respond to communications. We met for the first time on the day with a bit of a hazy plan for a tricky shoot, but the crew took it all in their step and the final product was great. Would recommend.”
“Here Now are professional, creative and a pleasure to work with. The team are well organised, easy to communicate with and delivered an excellent result. Highly recommended.”
“I had a great experience with Here Now – they worked collaboratively with us and were an immeasurably great part of bringing the vision of the project to life.”
“Great team to work with. Helped us with a documentary project. Added helpful creative direction. Met all deadlines. Recommend.”

Video production in London: questions
We’re a video production company in London making brand films, corporate films, documentaries and TV commercials. Something we haven’t answered? Our team reads every brief within 2 working hours.
Drop us a lineHow much does video production cost in London?
Every London production we make starts at £9,500, and most land between £9,500 and £25,000. Shoot days, crew size, locations, permits and how much the edit has to produce move the number. If you only need the filming, a shoot-only day with a producer, a cinematographer and kit is £2,690. TV commercials start at £15,000. Every quote shows each line before anything is booked.
Do you make TV commercials?
Yes. We write and shoot TV commercials in London and take care of the parts that come after the edit: Clearcast approval, clock numbers, the PSE check and delivery to broadcasters through Peach. TV commercials start at £15,000. More on our TV commercials in London page.
How fast can you deliver a film?
Event and PR edits can go out in under 24 hours when the press needs them. For brand and corporate films, the first cut usually lands five to ten working days after the shoot, and most edits take one to three weeks from there, with two rounds of feedback. If you have a launch date, tell us at the start and we’ll plan back from it.
Can you sort London permits and locations?
Yes: borough film permits, TfL and the Underground, the Royal Parks, parking suspensions, access and risk assessments, plus studios and location scouts. Lead times are set by whoever owns the ground. TfL wants at least three weeks for the Underground, Canary Wharf wants ten working days, or twelve with a risk assessment, and a road closure in the City takes twelve weeks (checked October 2026).
Do you work with agencies or white-label?
All the time. We work behind agencies on production, crews and kit, and post, under your name and your NDA, and we’re happy to join client calls as part of your team. A lot of our PR films come through London agencies.
Do you handle casting?
Yes, from street casting and real contributors to professional talent, with usage and contracts agreed up front. For Airbnb’s four character profiles in Cornwall we cast local residents, not actors.
Can you provide accessibility deliverables?
Yes. We deliver open and closed captions, transcripts and audio-described versions on request. Tell us at the brief and we’ll build them into the plan.
Do you work with in-house teams?
Regularly. In-house marketing, comms and people teams brief us directly, and we fit around their sign-off process. We can co-brand with your own team’s work, or simply hand over the files for your channels.
What’s included in post-production?
The edit, colour grade, sound mix, light motion graphics and the versions you need, all done by our own post team. We agree the deliverables and codecs at the start: 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, captioned, ProRes and H.264. Edit days on their own start at £550.
Do you film outside London?
Yes. London is our home base, and we have bases in Manchester, Bristol and Cornwall, so most of the country is close to one of our crews. Abroad we’ve filmed in sixteen countries, from Ontario to Uganda. For work across the country, start at our video production company UK homepage.
Can you help with Clearcast delivery?
Yes. We submit scripts to Clearcast for pre-clearance, prepare the substantiation, get the clock numbers, run the PSE check and deliver the finished commercial through Peach. Starting early with Clearcast saves a reshoot later, so we bring it in at the script stage.
Who owns the footage, and how does licensing work?
You own the films we deliver. Talent, music and any licensed footage follow the usage we agree, by term, territory and media, and we write it down before the shoot. The project files and rushes can be handed over or archived with us; tell us which you’d prefer.
What crew and kit do you provide?
A typical London unit is a director or producer, a DOP, a sound recordist and lighting, with cinema cameras, prime and zoom lenses, and professional audio. We add a teleprompter, a drone or a bigger crew when the brief needs them. Crew-only days are on our film crew hire in London page.
How do we start?
Send a brief or book a 15-minute call. Our team reads every brief within 2 working hours. Then we come back with a treatment, an outline, a budget and a schedule, and the first workshop is free.
