Who we are
A video production company in Bristol, and the West Country
We make films for companies, charities and institutions in Bristol and across the South West: brand films, corporate films, documentaries and TV commercials. We come up with the idea, run the shoot and finish the film with our own post team. In 2026 Clutch named us a Top Video Production Company in Bristol, based on verified client reviews.
Here that has meant a recruitment film for a Bristol recruiter, a concept film shot at The Forge for a new museum and a year on the moors from Exmoor to West Penwith. Further afield, it has meant an announcement film in a New York library for Nevis and six productions for AlTi Tiedemann Global. We know the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust wants four to six weeks’ notice, that peat restoration only happens between August and March, and that Cornwall is over three hours down the road.

Case studies
Five case studies from Bristol and the South West
A museum that doesn’t exist yet, a recruiter that hires recruiters, a county’s nature partnership, a shepherd’s hut and a credit union.
Concept film · Cultural destination
Xanadoo
Xanadoo is a new kind of museum, planned for South-East Wales by Gaynor Coley and Susan Hill, who both came from the Eden Project. Before there was a building they needed one film to put in front of funders, councils and partners. We turned a room at The Forge in Bristol into an interview set, led the interviews, and cut a what, why and how film around a visit, from the market hall to the Call to Action finale.
- Filmed
- The Forge, Bristol, in one day
- Made
- A concept film for funders and partners
Recruitment film · Recruitment
Rise Technical Recruitment
Rise recruits recruiters, from offices in Bristol, London and Los Angeles, and needed a film that showed young recruiters what working there is like. We wrote a short script and the interview questions with Rise’s head of marketing, filmed at the Bristol office, and suggested employee success stories that could be shot the same day without adding budget.
- Filmed
- Rise’s Bristol office
- Made
- A 90-second recruitment film, success stories and social cuts
Documentary · Health and nature
Somerset Local Nature Partnership
Somerset Local Nature Partnership wanted a short documentary on social and nature prescription, made to be shown to the NHS, councils, charities and businesses across the county. We filmed for a week with more than eight partners, from wild swimmers to social prescribers, and made In Our Nature with every stage in-house.
“They really listened to what we wanted and helped us clarify our message and vision.”Sophie Burns, Project Lead, Somerset Local Nature Partnership
- Filmed
- Across Somerset, over a week
- Made
- In Our Nature, a short documentary for stakeholders
Brand film · Shepherd’s huts
Plankbridge
Plankbridge is often credited with starting the shepherd’s hut revival. Richard, the founder, gave us a one-line brief: give us goosebumps. We made the film about why people buy a hut and the life that comes with it rather than the joinery, from location scouting and casting to the grade, as a two-person team, on time and on budget.
“We set the brief of ‘give us goosebumps!’ and it did exactly that.”Richard, Founder, Plankbridge
- Filmed
- On location in Dorset
- Made
- A brand film for the Plankbridge website
Fundraising film · Community bond
Great Western Credit Union
Great Western Credit Union lends to people the high-street banks overlook, across Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire. We made the film for its first bond offer. It had to explain a community bond to a first-time investor, so we built it on a scripted voice-over, portraits of the team, interviews at the AGM and simple animation, and Ethex put it on the offer page. The offer passed its £800,000 target in six weeks and closed above £1.9 million.

Video production in Cornwall →“We are absolutely thrilled with the final film, the team were so generous with their time and creativity throughout the process. They really listened to what we wanted and helped us clarify our message and vision.”
Project Lead, Somerset Local Nature Partnership
“It was a real pleasure to work with Here Now for our latest website film. We set the brief of ‘give us goosebumps!’ and it did exactly that. Ed and Ollie were a joy to work with.”

“The team at Here Now are exceptional. I’ve worked with them on a number of projects now and the quality is always outstanding, they are also just an absolute pleasure to work with! They offer creativity, passion and a level of professionalism I’ve rarely had with other businesses. I’d highly recommend Ed and the team to anyone as their first call for top-tier video production.”
“It was a pleasure collaborating with the team at Here Now Films (Ed, Meg, and Ted). They created two videos for our drug and alcohol charity, WithYou in Cornwall, highlighting the recovery journeys of our clients and showcasing the outstanding work our staff does every day. They approached the filming process with sensitivity and empathy, helping our clients and staff feel at ease throughout the shoot. We are thrilled with the final results of both films and would gladly work with the team again in the future.”
“Ed and Ted created a micro-documentary for us showcasing an innovative project in Cornwall, they were highly professional, fitted in seamlessly with a highly complex and fast paced day of activity and logistics, while building instant rapport with the multiple people involved in the day.”
“Great team, allowed us a lot of flexibility in planning our video production around a group of international executives with limited available time, incredibly adaptable with us during post production and series of SME based reviews and live edits.”
“The Here Now Films team helped us conduct a remote shoot in London, from San Francisco. The team made the process as smooth as possible and were an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend their services!”
“I worked with a crew of four people from Here Now Films for a pilot project. Morgan, the organiser, was very proficient and quick to respond to communications. We met for the first time on the day with a bit of a hazy plan for a tricky shoot, but the crew took it all in their step and the final product was great. Would recommend.”
“Here Now are professional, creative and a pleasure to work with. The team are well organised, easy to communicate with and delivered an excellent result. Highly recommended.”
“Great team to work with. Helped us with a documentary project. Added helpful creative direction. Met all deadlines. Recommend.”

Video production in Bristol: questions
We’re a video production company in Bristol making brand films, corporate films, documentaries and TV commercials. Something we haven’t answered? Our team reads every brief within 2 working hours.
Drop us a lineHow much does video production cost in Bristol?
Every production we make in Bristol starts at £9,500, and most land between £9,500 and £25,000. Shoot days, crew size, locations and how much the edit has to produce move the number. If you only need the filming, a shoot-only day with a producer, a cinematographer and kit is £2,690. TV commercials start at £15,000. Every quote shows each line before anything is booked.
What video production services do you offer?
All of it, or any part of it. Before the shoot: ideas, scripts, location scouting, casting, kit, permissions, shot lists and mood boards. On the day: crew, filming and interviews. Afterwards: editing, sound design and colour grading by our own post team. Some Bristol clients want the whole film; others want a crew for a day or an edit of footage they already have, and we quote for exactly that.
What types of films do you make?
Brand films, corporate films, branded micro-documentaries, charity and fundraising films, recruitment films, event films, social content and TV commercials. In Bristol and the South West that has meant a concept film for Xanadoo, a recruitment film for Rise Technical Recruitment, a year-long documentary for the South West Peatland Partnership and a bond offer film for Great Western Credit Union.
What experience do you have?
We’ve made 500+ productions for brands, broadcasters, charities and institutions: an announcement film for Nevis and Focus Financial Partners in New York, six productions for AlTi Tiedemann Global, a documentary for BBC World, Airbnb’s campaign in Cornwall and our films for Tate St Ives. Closer to Bristol: The Living Layer, Overall Winner at the Edinburgh Conservation Film Festival 2026, and the film that explained Great Western Credit Union’s first bond offer.
What equipment do you have?
We own Sony FX6 cinema cameras, cinema lenses, lighting and sound kit, so most Bristol shoots run on our own kit. When a job needs more, a different camera or specialist grip, we hire it locally; our guide to camera equipment rental in Bristol lists the rental houses we rate.
Do you have insurance and permits for filming in Bristol?
Yes. We carry £10m public liability and £10m employers’ liability cover, and we sort the permissions a shoot needs: the council for streets and public spaces, landowners and venues, and the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust, which wants four to six weeks’ notice. Our guide to filming on Clifton Suspension Bridge has the detail.
Do you have a studio in Bristol?
No, and we’d rather say so. Our Bristol office is at Raw Space on Gloucester Road. When a film needs a studio we hire the right one: The Bottle Yard Studios in Whitchurch is the largest film and TV studio in the West of England, and our Bristol location guide covers four more, plus the landmarks people ask to film.
Do you film outside Bristol?
Yes. Bath, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall are all a drive away, and our Cornwall office is in Newquay: see video production in Cornwall. Our headquarters are in London, and abroad we’ve filmed in sixteen countries. For work across the country, start at our video production company UK homepage.
How fast can you deliver a film?
Event edits can go out within days when the press needs them; H&M’s Bristol store opening was edited within a week of the event. For brand and corporate films, the first cut usually lands five to ten working days after the shoot, with two rounds of feedback. If you have a launch date, tell us at the start and we’ll plan back from it.
Do you make TV commercials?
Yes, from the script to Clearcast approval and delivery to broadcasters through Peach. Whistlefish’s first TV ad ran on ITV in the West, with Sky AdSmart alongside. TV commercials start at £15,000. More on our TV commercial production page.
Do you work with agencies or white-label?
All the time. We work behind agencies on production, crews and kit, and post, under your name and your NDA, and we’re happy to join client calls as part of your team. H&M’s store opening came to us through The Park, a London PR agency.
How do we start?
Send a brief or book a 15-minute call. Our team reads every brief within 2 working hours. Then we come back with a treatment, an outline, a budget and a schedule, and the first workshop is free.
