Hiring process

Open roles (details)

Producer (Freelance)

  • Contract: Freelance (ad-hoc, project based)
  • Rate: £300–£400/day (DOE)
  • Location: Bristol studio + remote + on-location (South West/UK)
  • What you’ll do: take projects from brief to delivery; shape treatments; plan shoots; manage contributors, schedules and budgets; lead interview days; oversee edits and delivery.
  • You’ll fit if: you’ve produced brand/corporate/doc work, can direct interviews, and keep clients and crew aligned under time pressure.

Director of Photography (Freelance)

  • Contract: Freelance (project based)
  • Rate: £650/day (excl. kit)
  • Location: On-location across the South West/UK
  • What you’ll do: lead camera and lighting; collaborate on look/approach; run small crews; light interviews; capture b-roll that cuts cleanly; work comfortably with producers/directors.
  • Nice to have: own kit list (camera/prime set/basic G&E); clean audio workflow with sound op; driving licence.

Videographer (Freelance — shoot & edit)

  • Contract: Freelance (project based)
  • Rate: Competitive (DOE)
  • Location: Bristol studio + on-location; edit remote or in-studio
  • What you’ll do: end-to-end delivery on smaller shoots; self-shoot interviews/b-roll; manage media; do a clean first assembly and social cut-downs; follow style guides.
  • Must haves: confident solo set-ups; tidy rushes; Premiere Pro workflow; clear comms with producer and client.

Video Editor (Freelance)

  • Contract: Freelance (rota or project based)
  • Rate: £300–£450/day (DOE)
  • Location: Bristol studio or remote (UK)
  • What you’ll do: edit interview-led and narrative pieces in Premiere Pro; integrate b-roll/stock; use Frame.io for notes; deliver masters and social versions to spec.
  • You’ll fit if: you can follow a brief, bring narrative ideas, and handle feedback calmly and quickly.
