THE WORK

Recent Technology & AI Productions

01 · Beyond · Brand launch film · East London

A brand launch film for Beyond

Beyond is the result of 5 companies merging, leaving a new brilliant entity with a name – Beyond – but no clear identity. But this was no small company, Beyond is a Google Cloud engineering business working across nine countries. The team had a launch week for the new brand, and the executives could give us one morning between them for us to tell their story.

So we booked an East London studio for a day, ran four C-suite interviews in staggered hour slots, skipped the narrator, and built an animated centrepiece that maps five companies into one brand. The hero film delivered on time, 34 days after the first enquiry. Six more films came out of that same day, and Beyond later asked us to extend the opening titles across their four-part podcast series on agentic AI.

02 · Miro · Customer story · City of London

A customer story for Miro, filmed at Endava

In February 2026, Miro — the AI Innovation Workspace used by more than 100 million people — wrote to us about a customer story. The subject was Endava, the NYSE-listed engineering company that rebuilt its delivery model around AI. Thirty days after that first email, our crew was loading in at Endava’s headquarters on Old Broad Street.

Two shoot days on working floors. Three board-level interviews: Endava’s Chief Technology Officer, Chief Design Officer, and Chief People and Locations Officer. We ran the edit on a shared Miro board, which felt right. The film went to Endava’s executives and came back with no notes, and Miro put it out on their own YouTube channel and on miro.com.

03 · AlTi Tiedemann Global × Nevis · Fireside chat · New York

A fireside chat on AI in wealth management

Our sixth production with AlTi Tiedemann Global. They wanted to talk about a question the whole industry is still working out: what happens to trust when a machine does more of the advisor’s work?

We put AlTi’s Chief Technology Officer in a room with the CEO of Nevis, the AI infrastructure company building their orchestration layer, and asked AlTi’s Global Chief Investment Officer to host. Then we treated a familiar format like a brand film: three cameras, controlled lighting, a topic map instead of a teleprompter. Filmed near AlTi’s New York office in April 2026. Delivered as the long conversation plus cutdowns for LinkedIn and YouTube.

04 · Bank for International Settlements · Interview film · Cornwall

An interview with a robot

The Bank for International Settlements — the central bank for the world’s central banks — asked us to film an interview with Ameca, widely regarded as the world’s most advanced humanoid robot, about fairness and transparency in AI-driven finance. We shot it at Engineered Arts in Cornwall, with the Head of the BIS Innovation Hub London Centre asking the questions.

The finished film runs 16 minutes, with two short cuts for the event and social, and played as the centrepiece of a BIS Innovation Hub conference. Their words afterwards: “the star of the show.”

WHAT ARE WE

Technology is hard to connect with. People aren’t.

It’s the reason tech and AI companies come to us. We’re a branded micro documentary company, and every format we work in, customer stories, brand films, micro documentaries, is built around people: what they’re up against, what they’re building, and what happens when it works.

So whatever the technology is, a workspace platform, a cloud engineering practice, a humanoid robot, we don’t change the method. We find the person. A CTO with an existential question. Four executives who’d just become one company. Two leaders talking honestly about trust. A robot answering questions in the workshop where it was built. The technology matters because it changes something for someone. That’s the film.

OUR APPROACH

Making the invisible visible

Most of the technology in these films can’t be seen directly: a model, a platform, a delivery method. Some of it is a robot you can stand next to. The job is the same either way: make the invisible visible, and connect people with the engineering and new processes changing their work.

Transformation stories

A lot of our technology work is transformation stories: films about people whose work a technology changed. Miro × Endava is really a film about a company rebuilding how it delivers. It opens with Endava’s Chief Technology Officer admitting that when ChatGPT launched, every conversation he had came round to whether Endava was about to go out of business. The film is the story of what they did about it.

Engineering you can stand next to

Not all technology lives on a screen. Ameca is motors, sensors and code, built by Engineered Arts in Cornwall, and we filmed it in the workshop where it was made. Physical engineering, robotics, hardware, labs, production lines, suits our documentary method: real places, real makers, process happening in front of the camera.

Change, talked through honestly

Sometimes the story is change itself. Beyond’s film is five companies becoming one. The AlTi × Nevis fireside chat is an industry working out what trust means when AI joins the workflow. Both are films about people in the middle of something changing.

FORMATS

What we produce for technology organisations

Every format below is something we’ve delivered for technology client.

Not a menu, a track record.

Branded micro documentary

The home format. A short documentary made for a brand: real people, unscripted interviews, filmed where the work happens, cut to a length people actually watch.

Customer story

A film where a technology company’s real customer explains, on camera and unscripted, what the product changed. Often it’s also an implementation film: how the rollout went, what transformed. The best sign it worked is the client publishing it themselves. Miro did. See Miro × Endava

Brand film

A film that introduces a company to its market, or tracks how it became what it is. Beyond’s launch film maps five companies becoming one name, and carries the history with it. Built to be cut down for social, presentations and campaigns. See Beyond

Team and capability films

A film about what a company is like to work with: the team, how they operate, what they’re set up to deliver. Useful for recruitment, bids and about pages. Beyond’s shoot day produced a recruitment cut that went out within days of filming.

Hard engineering films

Products and capabilities you can point a camera at. For engineering companies like AALTO we film the hardware itself, where it’s built and tested. The Ameca interview is the far end of this: the product answers the questions. Or even our documentary following the turner twins pushing electric para motors to the limit.

Thought leadership

Senior people saying something worth hearing, filmed properly: fireside chats, panels, keynote films. The AlTi × Nevis conversation on AI and trust is a good example. See the fireside chat

FAQ

Technology video production FAQs

Which technology companies have you made films for?

A customer story for Miro, filmed at Endava’s London headquarters and published on Miro’s own channels; a brand launch film for the Google Cloud engineering company Beyond; a fireside chat on AI in wealth management for AlTi Tiedemann Global and Nevis; an interview with the humanoid robot Ameca for the Bank for International Settlements; and customer-story films for Qualcomm in the UK and Germany.

What is a branded micro documentary?

A short documentary made for a brand: real people, unscripted interviews, filmed where the work happens, cut to a length people actually watch. It’s our home format, and most of the customer stories and brand films on this page are built with the same method.

How do you film AI?

Depends what it is. When the technology is physical, like Ameca, we film the engineering itself, in the workshop where it was built. When it lives on a screen, we film the teams whose work it changes and find one moment you can watch happen. Either way the film is about people and what changed.

Do you film hardware and engineering companies, or just software?

Both. On this page alone: a workspace platform, a cloud engineering company, and a humanoid robot built by Engineered Arts in Cornwall. Physical engineering such as robotics, hardware and labs suits our documentary method: real places, real makers, process on camera.

How quickly can you deliver a technology film?

Miro’s first email to first shoot day was 30 days. Beyond ran 34 days from first conversation to contracted delivery, into a launch week that couldn’t move. Neither was a rush job. We lock the story first as an assembly cut, and the polish goes on after sign-off.

Can you film inside our offices?

Usually that’s the best version. We shot Miro × Endava over two days on Endava’s working floors at 125 Old Broad Street. When a controlled space works better, as it did for Beyond’s four back-to-back executive interviews, we hire a studio. And when the story lives somewhere else, we go there. Recent shoots include New York and Cornwall.

Where is Here Now Films based?

Headquarters at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, with teams in Manchester, Bristol and Cornwall. We make technology films across the UK and internationally. Recent shoots include New York and the Engineered Arts workshop in Cornwall.
