Bank For International Settlements x Engineered Arts
An Interview With A Robot
Asking AMECA the humanoid robot about the future of finance.
The Bank for International Settlements — the central bank for the world’s central banks — commissioned us to produce something genuinely unprecedented: a filmed interview with Ameca, widely regarded as the world’s most advanced humanoid robot, exploring what artificial intelligence means for the future of fair, transparent finance.
Shot at Engineered Arts in Cornwall, the session was conducted by the Head of the BIS Innovation Hub London Centre, who interviewed both Ameca and her creators about AI transparency, bias reduction, and inclusivity in financial services.
We delivered a full-length 16-minute interview film alongside two short cuts for event and social use, all produced as the centrepiece of a major BIS Innovation Hub conference bringing together financial leaders from around the world.
“The star of the show.” — BIS Innovation Hub
It’s a project that sits at the sharp intersection of fintech, artificial intelligence, and financial regulation, and it demanded a production team comfortable operating in technically complex environments with the tonal precision that a central banking institution expects.
Deliverables: 1 x 16-minute interview film, 2 x short cuts for event and social use.
