We’re excited to share that two brilliant filmmakers have joined the Here Now Films team in London: Alex Webb, a multi-award-winning director and senior colourist, and Meg Amos, producer director, who’s already deep into production with some incredible clients.
Both hires reflect where the company is heading. This is all about having brilliant in-house capability to deliver exceptional work for clients at a better value. We’re looking to build on our in-house capabilities to continue more capacity, more senior talent, and more ambitious work out of our London HQ and beyond.
Alex Webb: Senior Producer & Colourist
Alex is a self-shooting film director and DaVinci Resolve colourist based in London, and he brings a seriously impressive body of work with him. His career spans fashion, factual, and branded content for some of the world’s most recognisable names, including Burberry, ASOS, The Body Shop, HSBC, PwC, Tesco, BrewDog, and the United Nations.
On the broadcast side, Alex has produced content for the BBC, Discovery Channel, and The History Channel. He also worked with Rankin Studio, the creative practice founded by renowned photographer Rankin, and delivered projects for NSPCC, one of the UK’s most important children’s charities.
Awards
Alex’s work has been recognised at some of the industry’s most competitive ceremonies. He won Gold for Best Director and Gold for Best Cinematography at the EVCOM London Live and Film Awards in 2020, followed by a further Gold for Best Cinematography in 2022. He was a finalist at the Cannes Corporate Film Awards in 2021 and won Gold for Sound Design at the New York Film & Television Awards the same year.
For us, EVCOM is a particularly meaningful benchmark. Here Now Films is a full EVCOM member, the aim is to push our films to the standard where we win these same awards. Having someone of Alex’s calibre join the team in London raises the standard across everything we do.
What Alex Brings
Alex joins as Senior Editor and Colourist. In practice, that means he’ll be leading on the post-production aspect of the productions, from initial cuts through to delivering final colour grades.
His colour grading work is worth highlighting specifically. As a professional DaVinci Resolve colourist, Alex offers our clients access to high-end finishing whether they’re based in London or anywhere else in the world. This strengthens our existing post-production offering considerably, adding senior colour expertise to complement our editing, offline, and online workflows.
Meg Amos: Creative Producer
Meg joins as Creative Producer, and she’s already hit the ground running. This week she’s on set in London shooting with Aalto, and next week she flies to Iceland with Cellebrite for the second production we’re delivering for them.
After Iceland, Meg takes on our contract with Toast, which involves five shoots across London and a sixth in Toronto, Canada. It’s a schedule that shows both the pace of work coming through the company and the kind of senior creative leadership Meg brings to every production.
Having a dedicated producer director of Meg’s experience means we can take on more ambitious, multi-location projects without compromising on the creative direction or production quality that our clients expect. Whether it’s a brand film for a lifestyle brand, a corporate production for an international client, or a multi-day shoot that spans countries, Meg’s role is to make sure the creative vision is protected from brief through to delivery.
Why We’re Growing the Team Now
2026 is shaping up to be the busiest year in the company’s history. In the last few months alone we’ve won content production for the Sony World Photography Awards 2026, been commissioned by The Athletic (part of the New York Times group) for a four-part athlete interview series, and been named Top Video Production Company in London by Clutch.
Our documentary work is also reaching new audiences. The Living Layer, our film with the South West Peatland Partnership, has just been selected for three film festivals: the Edinburgh Conservation Film Festival, South West Film Fest, and the Nature Without Borders International Film Festival. And our team has just set off for the second leg of an international feature-length documentary focused on the global sanitation crisis.
Meanwhile, the volume of brand video production and corporate video production coming through London has grown steadily. Clients like AlTi have all become long-term creative partnerships, and the new work coming in, from Aalto and Cellebrite to Toast and beyond, means we needed to bring in people who could lead from the front.
Alex and Meg aren’t just extra hands. They’re senior creatives with the experience and judgment to take on complex briefs independently and deliver work that meets the standard our clients have come to expect.
What’s Next
With Alex and Meg on board, we’re set up to deliver more work, across more locations, at a higher level than ever. If you’re looking for a video production company in London that combines award-winning creative talent with the production infrastructure to deliver internationally, we’d love to hear from you.Get in touch with us here, or take a look at our films to see the kind of work we do.
