Last week we wrapped a full-on two-day shoot in Marylebone, working with the team at Hunter Design on a new brand film for a flagship residential development commissioned by Westminster City Council.
What We Did
Our brief was to capture a sense of place. Not just the development itself, but the rhythm, feel and fabric of the surrounding streets — from coffee shops to violin makers, leafy parks to canal paths. The result is a cinematic, lifestyle-led piece that positions the development as more than just a postcode — it’s a calm corner of the city with real character.
We worked closely with the team at Hunter Design in the run-up, building a clear and purposeful shot list that balanced street-level lifestyle with elegant brand moments. Every setup had intention behind it — and every location was secured properly.
We reached out ahead of time and got filming permissions from all key venues, including Ottolenghi, La Brasseria, Daunt Books, and The Wallace Collection. Everyone was welcoming and generous with their time, which made a huge difference across the two days.
As a video production company in London, these are the moving parts we manage constantly — from creative and logistics to crew and compliance. We filmed as a tight trio: Director of Photography, Assistant, and Producer, keeping the kit footprint lean while staying reactive and high-spec.
The shoot was captured using our go-to combo: the DJI Ronin 4D and Sony FX6s paired with Arles Primes, giving us a cinematic finish with handheld flexibility and crisp visual consistency across the entire schedule.

What’s Next
We’re now deep in post-production, crafting the master film and a suite of cut-downs. The final piece will blend rich location footage with branded voiceover, giving the development a timeless, textured feel that speaks to its audience — not at them.
Massive thanks to Hunter Design for the trust and collaboration, and to all the local businesses and venues who made filming so smooth.
